Bukit Tabur, Climb 2

This time we made it in 5 hours. Sixteen (16) of us. One person finished with torn pants, one with teared shoe sole, one with a bad throw-out, and a few with a few tumbling here and there. This climb we made a day before Hari Raya Aidil Adha. Still we met many climbers Malay and Chinese and a dog. This time round the weather was much cooler with a little drizzle as we started off at 8am. Personally, this time round the climb is much easier and the track maneuverable. Still the rope descend is troublesome - gotta get a grip on this one.

Below pics show Aween on the rope descending down. Ayah Su ready to grab her just in case. Next, me and Azran giving instruction and moral support. While Azhar, posing for early victory to photograper Aizat at the other side of the cliff. Below not shown is Ikram guiding her footsteps. (Behind Azhar are some other climbers who have caught up with us managing the rope.)

The climbers (the number of climbs):

Ikram (7th), Azhar (5th), Aizat (4th), Baba (2nd), Mama (2nd), Liyana (2nd), Hazem (2nd), Helmi (2nd), Hana (1st), E E (1st), Aimi (1st), Shereen (1st), Azran (1st), Aween (1st), Atira (1st), Atirah (1st) - this is again a family outing with my nieces and nephews.

Group photo (Hana's camera) at the end of the ridge - next is descending downhill:

Take 1 - original pose - tired!

Take 2 - directed to make happy pose -- ! Yeah.. Peace... Thumbs up!!

Bukit Tabur, Gombak

Our planned family trip to Jerantut over the 4 day weekend didn't turn out as it should. We left Kuantan Friday about 9am and reached Jerantut about eleven. It was drizzling as we set out. Not that it dampen our spirit for camping and fishing at Kg. Bukit Dinding, the cool morning made us more excited and eager to set camp. The weather was forecasted 60% chance of rain throughout the weekend. So the backup plan should we decide not to camp out was to head for KL. That was what we did as the Pahang river had risen high and there were noticable floods at low grounds besides the road.

Next day we took up an offer to hike Bukit Tabur near Melawati and Ulu Klang Dam.

Our nephew a regular to Bukit Tabur offered to take us up and we were up to it. Looking at pictures of the hill, we were skeptical of us managing it. But it was just too good of an opportunity to refuse. 11am we started our way up hill. Ikram estimated the hike would take us 4 hours.

The trail started straight uphill and we were advised to take small steps at a time. My son Hazem offered help as we started to make the climb. The further up we went the more lagged behind from the group I was. The group: Me (45), Baba (44), Liyana (17), Ajim (14), Helmi (12), Ilham (8), Nazmi (14), Aizat (23) and Ikram (32).

By 12 we reached the first clearance to see the Tabur East, the Ulu Klang Dam water reservoir and KL. The trail took us uphill and downhill. We heard the azan for solat Zuhur when we were up there. It must have been from the UIA mosque nearby. With many stops to rest ourselves we walked along side cliff, climbed walls of stones, down a rope, down under large stones. Man it was challenging.

Towards the end of the ridge UIA is very close by. We can see the whole campus spread in front of us. 3:30 we reached the end of the trail.

We then started to follow the downward trail. You'd think it's a short way down, but it was like an endless walk along trees, shrubs, kebun durian, dusun, more trees, houses, fish pond and finally the road at the foothill. I can feel my toe nail biting the flesh with each step I took. I can barely walk but pushed myself to end the hike.

Bottom line, we made it up and across the Bukit Tabur ridge, and down in 6 hours!!

Clap! clap! clap! (Photo from Aizat's Flickr taken with timer)

Next we setup camp at the Ulu Klang Dam Recreational Park.

Serunding Daging

Yummy! Serunding daging is much like rendang but cook until dry. Not dry as in no gravy but dried until flaky. The meat is not cut cube as in cooking rendang. It is separated into tiny pieces.

Serunding can be considered as a fast food. It can be a dish for lunch or dinner typically for the Malays.

During the fasting month of Ramadhan AlMubarak, serunding is a favourite dish expecially for Sahur. This is because when eating sahur one's appetite differs from eating at normal meals. Not only had one restained from eating during day time, one also had to wake up from sleep in the wee hours of morning to eat sahur. Waking up for sahur, the body is still dizzy, the eyes is hard to adjust to light, and the throat is dry, and mostly the desire is to go back to sleep. The tasty serunding will open the appetite for a sufficient meal in preparation for the next day puasa.

For Hari Raya, serunding is taken with ketupat, or used as filllings for ketupat palas

In Kelantan, there are many families making serunding as their small business at their homes, especially at Kampung Laut, Tumpat. Here serunding is made in large "kawah"s batch wise. An eight kawah proces is manned by three ladies. The process is systematic to ensure productivity. Here you can buy them in kilo bags or in 250gm pre-packed packages.

Contact me if you wish to get some for your own consumption or business.

The Virtues of the Night of Al-Qadr
Author:'Abdullaah Ibn Saalih Al-Fawzaan
Source:Ahaadeeth As-Siyaam (pg. 141-143)

Abu Hurairah (raa) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (saws) said: "Whoever performs the night prayer on the night of Al-Qadr with Eemaan (firm belief) and seeking reward will have all his past sins forgiven." [1]
This hadeeth is evidence for the virtue of the night of Al-Qadr as well as performing qiyaam (night prayer) during it. And it indicates that it is a grand night, which Allaah has honored and made better than a thousand months, with regard to its blessing and the blessings found in the righteous deeds that are performed in it. Thus it is better than the worship of a thousand months and that is equivalent to eighty-three years and four months. Due to this, whoever performs qiyaam (night prayer) with true faith and while seeking reward in it, will be forgiven his past sins. There were certain verses revealed concerning this virtue:

Allaah says: "We sent it (the Qur'aan) down on a blessed night. Verily We are Ever-Warning. Therein (on that night) is decreed every matter of ordainment." [2]

Therefore, it is a "blessed night" meaning it possesses much good and blessing due to its merit and the great reward that awaits the one who does good deeds in it. Among its blessings, is that Allaah revealed the Qur'aan in it. Allaah says:

"Verily, We have sent it (the Qur'aan) down in the night of Al-Qadr. And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr is? The night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Rooh (Jibreel) by their Lord's permission with all decrees. (All that night) there is peace, until the appearance of dawn." [3]

Ibn Katheer (rahimahullaah) said concerning Allaah's saying: "Therein descend the angels and the Rooh": "This means that the descending of the angels increases during this night due to the vast amount of its blessings. And the angels descend along with the descent of blessing and mercy, just as they descend during the time when the Qur'aan is recited and encompass the gatherings in which Allaah is remembered and spread their wings for the true seeker of knowledge, out of respect for him." [4]

This night occurs only in Ramadaan, since Allaah revealed the Qur'aan in it. He informs us that its revelation occurred during the month of Ramadaan in His saying: "Verily, We have sent it (the Qur'aan) down in the night of Al-Qadr." [5]

And His saying: "The month of Ramadaan in which was revealed the Qur'aan" [6]

This means that its revelation from Allaah to His Prophet Muhammad (saws) began in it.

Allaah's statement: "The night of Al-Qadr" is either an indicative of the honor and station of that night, as it is said: "Such and such person has great Qadr". The conjunction of "the night" to Al-Qadr is the joining of a descriptive feature to it, thus making it mean "An honorable night". The word "Al-Qadr" may also be in reference to the ordainment and disposal of affairs. Thus, its being joined to the word "the night" would be in order to denote a place or time for it. So it would mean "the night in which all that will occur in the following year will be decreed." This is similar to Allaah's saying: "Therein (on that night) is decreed every matter of ordainment." [7]

Qataadah said of this: "Therein is decreed every matter for the (upcoming) year" [8] and Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this is the correct opinion. [9]

What seems most correct is that there is nothing that restricts the possibility of these two understandings and Allaah knows best.

His statement: "with Eemaan" means with firm conviction in what Allaah has prepared for those who stand in prayer during this magnificent night. And "seeking reward" means looking for reward and the attainment of recompense.

Thus, this is a grand night, which Allaah has chosen for beginning the revelation of the Qur'aan. So the Muslim must acknowledge its weight in worth, by guarding it and spending it in worship whilst having firm conviction and seeking the reward of Allaah, in order that Allaah may forgive all of his previous sins. This is why the Prophet (saws) warned us about being heedless of this night and being neglectful of spending it in worship, for the Muslim would be prevented from its good.

Abu Hurairah (raa) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (saws) said: "Ramadaan has come to you - a blessed month. Allaah has made it obligatory upon you to fast in it. During this month, the gates of heaven are open, the gates of the Hellfire are closed and the evil devils are chained. To Allaah belongs a night in it, which is better than a thousand months. Whoever is prevented from its good, then he has been deprived." [10]

The Muslim should supplicate much on the nights in which the night of Al-Qadr is sought. And he should supplicate with that which the Prophet (saws) instructed 'Aa'ishah (raa) with, when she asked him: "What if I know on which night the night of Al-Qadr occurs, what should I say?" So he (saws) said: "Say: O Allaah, indeed you are All-Pardoning. You love forgiveness, so forgive me." [11]

Ibn Katheer (rahimahullaah) said: "It is recommended to supplicate a lot at all times and (to supplicate) more than that during the month of Ramadaan, its last ten days and its odd days. And it is highly recommended to increase ones invoking with this supplication: 'O Allaah, indeed you are All-Pardoning. You love forgiveness, so forgive me.'" [12]

I Love Malaysia

Malaysia has passed the second half of the century after merdeka. At 50+1 years old, Merdeka Malaysian can be thankful for the peace and harmony we experience. Lee Chong Wei's "datuk"ship is indeed well earned. He represents the vibrant and energetic Malaysia is today. The TV ad about a young man wanting to buy half a teh tarik from a mamak is so cute. It's not only cute, the ad is a sneak preview of our beautiful mix culture. Mix believe, mix language and alamak my post is getting too long already.

Love you Malaysia, may we prosper in peace and harmony.

Legal Fee

Feels like being ripped off for the second time from the same event.

I was unfairly dismissed from my job, twice terminated the case ended up at the industrial court. The result is of course I won. But somehow the term where the award money is to be paid to the lawyer becomes and issue to me now. It's best to forget, but I'd like to learn from mistake. Was it a mistake to accept that term and not paid directly to claimant? At that time I didn't think that much cause that's the kind of thing the lawyer would decide that's best for his/her client. In this case, maybe it was for the best of the lawyer.

Anyway, the money went to the lawyer - at the end of the term. Good. Then after a long wait from the lawyer, i was informed that the lawyer's fee is a staggering amount of RM35000 to be deducted from the award!! And I had to fight for the case the whole way. All the lawyer did was write up a few documents. And they have the cheek to bill me 35k.

During the course of process, i was always advised to settle with whatever they offer. And that was my lawyer's advice when they offered 100k settlement, 2 yrs after the event, and 2 days before the hearing date!! Think about it.

So back to the lawyer's bill, I feel he should just settle at an amicable percentage at 100k. The total award money was more than 60% from the original offer. And it was obtained through my voice. The lawyer was like arm folded during the discussion and was a yes sir or yes maam for this case when facing with the defendant.

The nerve.

Well, the money is with them now so give it to me. Astaghfirullah.

Read after taking your meal

I had a dream of that animal during my afternoon nap today. He was bed ridden for high fever.

... I went to the plant and wanted to go look at the lines. I ask the engineer for PPEs. Thought of first asking plant manager's permission to enter the lines. Knocked his door. Opened the door. There he was in bed! (?) He smiled, tried to get up, he had lost a lot of weight. His skin is flapping behind him as he tried to sit up. "Saya demam lah. Kena makan ubat. Ubat pun kena makan, ludah dulu kemudian telan balik." Uuggghh. Disgusting. Disgusting creature he is. ...

I woke up feeling very dizzy. Pulled myself together to go pick up Ilham from school.

Personal Account of My Father Zulkifli Abdul Rahman

I was in the navy (Malay Section of the British Royal Navy). We sailed in HMS Scorpion (ABDUL RAHMAN B.Y. A.B. MN 713 (Malay Section) SCORPION) and sailed the South China Sea to the Borneo and surrounding areas. I was handling the telegraph machine, that was my job. It was the during the World War II. (The Japanese started to raid South East Asia December 1941 thru Songkla and Patani Siam, then Thailand, followed by Malaya thru Kota Bharu. From January to February 1942, heavy war between the Japanese and British over Singapore resulting in the British surrender.)

Then our ship was bombed by the Japanese. That caused a large hole on the ship and ship began to capsize. I was with two other ship personnel - Chinese. They were cooks. We jumped ship, and swam. (13/02/42 M.P.K. SHIP LOSS)

Then we made it into a sampan and got away. We made it to Padang of Sumatera. Then the Japanese found us and we were captured. (True account of HMS Scorpion is that it was attacked by Japanese fighter plane and later sunk by Japanese war ship February 12 1942, a few months after Pearl Harbour, when Japanese made mass attacks on British ships and conquered Asia. This was near the Banka Island near Singapore. Five ship crew survived the hit. Five hours left at sea in the dark the ship Mata Hari saw them and rescued them. Mata Hari anchored at Palembang. They were found by the Japanese and had to surrender. The ship was forced to sail back to Banka Island where most of the people on the ship became Japanese prisoners .)

We were send to Singapore then to Indochina, Vietnam. We were put in a Japanese captain's house. We only followed instruction.

Then directions came for us to be moved to Singapore. We were jailed at Changi jail for two weeks.

We were then released and I was sent to Batu Gajah. We traveled by military truck (possibly after September 1945, after the Japanese surrendered Singapore to the British. He must have served the RMN for at least four years 1941 till 1945.)

There I was directed to the Agricultural Department. Because I was in the military and very disciplined I was appointed Agricultural Officer looking over padi plantings.

There my father married Tun (my mother was Mariah.)

As a step mother, she, Tun, was cruel. We couldn't stand her (my wife was carrying a baby and all) so we moved to Batu Gajah. We stayed with our uncle Sulaiman. It was a small house, a government quarters. I was still with the Agricultural Department.

Then I had Tibi. I was hospitalized at Batu Gajah hospital the only medical facility for Tibi in the whole of Malaysia. I was treated by Dr Phang. I was held there for two years.

Then there was this new Tibi facility in Kuala Lumpur. I was moved there and spent another two years in that hospital. (All in all he spent four years of his life in hospital for Tibi.)

We lived at Jalan Pasar.

(We later lived at Jalan Ipoh, when he was posted at the Depot Pusat Bekalan Tentera. He retired from being a government servant. We moved to Taman Perwira, the house he had lived till today. He continued to work with RRI and later Hong Leong Bank. He resigned at 60.)

(Last June, at 90, he was diagnosed with cancer. He underwent a major surgery to remove the effected area. He recovered extremely well from the major surgery done at the KL General Hospital.)

(28th July, his second daughter, Zunaida, left him after battling Leukemia. It was after lunch 30th July he told us his life story when my son Hazem, his grandson, asked him about his life in the navy.
)

In Memory of ....

She passed away 28th July 2008 10pm at 57 after fighting leukemia for more than one year. Innalillah wainna ilaihi rajiun. That would be my late sister Zunaida Zulkifli. A strong woman indeed.

We arrived at the hospital earlier the afternoon at about 2pm. Sis Jima, Jiha, Kak Asiah, AbaChit, Ana, and Shazlan were there. The sight of her poor condition face was sorrowful. We all greeted each other before I proceeded to close upon arwah. Her eyes was closed shut, her face was spotted with broken blood vessels and she had a O2 tube going into her mouth and plasters were all over her face and head. On top of that, many smaller tubes with antibiotics, pain killer etc from syringe pumps surrounded her. BP and pulse machines were there too. So was a life supporting equipment. She had been laying there under sedative since Sunday.

Islam Question and Answer - Does donating blood invalidate wudoo’?

Does donating blood invalidate wudoo’?

Can a muslim donate blood, and if so can he read salaah straight after donating blood?

Praise be to Allaah.

If it is necessary to carry out a blood transfusion, there is no sin on the patient, the doctors or the donor, because of the following:

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “… and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind…” [al-Maa’idah 5:32] . (Melayu) . This aayah indicates the virtue of being the cause of saving the life of someone whom it is forbidden to kill, and there is no doubt that the doctors and blood donors are among the causes of saving the life of patients who are at risk of dying if a blood transfusion is not carried out.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “He has forbidden you only the dead animals, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for other than Allaah. But if one is forced by necessity without wilful disobedience nor transgressing due limits, then there is no sin on him. Truly, Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [al-Baqarah 2:173]. This aayah indicates that there is no sin on the one who does a forbidden thing out of necessity; the sick person accepts a blood transfusion out of necessity, and there is nothing wrong with the donor giving his blood either. The guidelines of Islamic sharee’ah dictate that donating blood should be permitted, because one of its principles is that in cases of necessity, things that are ordinarily forbidden are permitted, and that ways should be found to ease hardship. The sick person is certainly in a hardship situation, and is compelled by necessity. The hardship he is facing could lead to his death, so it is permissible for him to receive a blood transfusion.

Blood Stem Cell Transplants - National Cancer Institute

Preparing Donors for Allogeneic Transplants

Blood stem cells are extracted most often from the peripheral blood of donors and occasionally from their bone marrow. Because there are significantly fewer stem cells in peripheral blood than in bone marrow, doctors prepare peripheral blood donors by injecting them with a series of growth factors to move blood stem cells from their marrow into their bloodstream. This increases the blood stem cells concentration 10- to 100-fold in the blood.

If stem cells are harvested from bone marrow, the donor is placed under general anesthesia. In a procedure that takes about an hour, marrow is removed through a large needle inserted into the donor's pelvic bones, and it is processed to remove blood and bone fragments. After the collection is completed, the donor may be given a transfusion of his or her own red blood cells from units of blood that were self-donated a week earlier.

Preparing Donors for Allogeneic Transplants

Apheresis: Harvesting Stem Cells From Peripheral Blood

Nurses harvest blood stem cells from a donor's peripheral blood using a process called apheresis. This process involves removal of whole blood from the donor. As blood is drawn from the donor, circulating stem cells (and sometimes mature immune cells) are extracted. A centrifuge-type machine then separates the components. The blood itself, minus the stem cells, is returned to the donor. Apheresis requires no anesthesia but can take several hours.

Michael Rasmussen's "Mini Site Profits Exposed" Video Series: How To Create A Mini Site That Runs On Autopilot And Makes You Money While You Sleep!

Most Internet marketers understand that having mini
sites is the fastest and easiest way to make money
online. They don't require a lot of time, energy, or
money to set up, and once you've got one up and
running, you can sit back and just collect money from
all the sales you're making.

At least... that's how it's supposed to be, right?

The truth is that mini sites really ARE easy to set
up. They really DON'T require much time, energy, and
money to set up. So why is it that so few people
actually make money with their mini sites?

The answer is that they never learned how to actually
turn their mini site into a profitable moneymaker that
runs completely on autopilot. The good news is...

*************************************************
YOU'RE ABOUT TO LEARN HOW TO DO IT!
*************************************************

Here's what this is all about: My colleague Michael
Rasmussen has just released a brand new video course
that will walk you through the process of creating a
killer mini site from the ground up, and then he'll
also teach you how to actually start making money with
it right away and into the future.

If you've been looking for help with monetizing your
mini sites, then this is exactly what you need. The
best part? The videos are FREE! I'll tell you more
about that later. First, let's talk about the videos
themselves.

If you're in a hurry, you can just check the
videos out right now for free. Here's the URL:

http://www.minisiteprofitsexposed.com/?thankyou-page=13904

*************************************************
OVERALL QUALITY
*************************************************

It's important to note that these are online videos
that you access from your web browser. Michael uses
Camtasia Studio to create these videos, which is the
premier software program for creating screen capture
tutorials such as these.

The first thing I noticed when I hit the play button
on the first video was the incredible production
quality. These are NOT your ordinary screen capture
videos. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen someone
make videos that are this high quality before.

He uses beautifully created graphics to pass his
wisdom along to you, and the sound quality is the
highest you will ever hear in an Internet marketing
product. They sound like they were recorded in a
professional studio.

Michael explained to me that he was sick and tired of
seeing all the low quality videos out there, and so he
set out to create something different in order to
raise the bar in our industry. I think that, when you
see Mini Site Profits Exposed for yourself, you'll
agree that he has succeeded.

Now let's move onto...

THE ACTUAL VIDEOS
*************************************************

Here's a brief summary of each video. Obviously
it's impossible to list every single thing here,
but I want you to get a feel for what each one
covered, and how well it covered it.

If you're in a hurry, you can just check the
videos out right now for free. Here's the URL:

VIDEO 1 - INTRODUCTION

This videos introduces you to the entire course, as
well as the teacher himself. You'll learn what you can
expect from the course, and why it's structured the
way it is.

Michael realizes that you may not have heard of him,
and so he spends some time establishing his
credibility with you by sharing some of his biggest
successes. It doesn't come across as bragging at all.
Michael explains that, in order for you to get value
from the teachings, you need to have faith that the
teacher actually knows what he's talking about. By the
end of this video, you will have no doubt.

By the way, this is a good lesson for all of us
product developers. If you want people to accept you
as an authority on any subject, you first need to
establish your credibility with the reader. That way
he's willing to relax, and trust that what you're
telling him is sound advice.

VIDEO 2 - THE BASICS

This video will introduce you to the basics of mini
site marketing. This will set the foundation that all
future learning will rest upon, so it's important to
pay close attention to this one.

You'll learn:

* What mini-sites are, and what makes them different
from regular content sites.

* Which businesses they work well for… and which ones
they don’t.

* The right mindset to have when it comes to creating
mini sites as part of your online business strategy.

* And the different tools you need to get started.

This was a great video, and did an excellent job of
kicking things off, and building the foundation for
the rest of the course.

VIDEO 3 - SQUEEZE PAGES

This is probably one of the most useful videos of the
entire course. Every Internet marketer needs to build
an email list, but how do you do it? What is the best
way to capture the most opt-ins?

The answer is 'squeeze pages'. This video will teach
you:

* Why using a squeeze page is far superior to other
opt-in methods.

* The single most important thing you must include at
the top of your squeeze page to skyrocket your opt-in
rate.

* The secret structure of a squeeze page, and why most
marketers get it wrong (which costs them a LOT of
money).

* The most important to include in your opt-in process
that will make sure that people actually receive your
email.

After watching this video, you'll know everything you
need to know to start building a massive opt-in list
right away. This will probably be the first video that
you 'take action' on. You'll be so excited about the
possibilities, that I guarantee you'll go and create
your own squeeze page right away.

VIDEO 4 - MINI SITE COPYWRITING - PART
ONE

Nothing happens until the sales copy is written.
Graphics alone will never sell a product, but sales
copy alone WILL. This video begins to demystify the
mysterious process of writing words that make people
whip out their credit cards and buy.

Specifically, you'll learn:

* Why you need to learn copywriting, even if you “hate
to write”

* What a compelling offer looks like, and how to tell
the difference.

* How to write an eyeball-grabbing headline that
practically forces your readers to go through your
entire page.

* A simple trick you can use in your opening to make
your reader want to learn more.

There is no skill that is more important to your
success than the ability to write killer sales copy.
Make sure you pay extra attention to this video, as
well as...

VIDEO 5 - MINI SITE COPYWRITING - PART
TWO

This video dives right into the individual components
of a killer sales letter. You'll learn how to create
the "secret structure" of a mini site sales letter
that makes big money. Specifically, you'll learn:

* How to create captivating body copy that draws your
reader into the sales letter.

* Bullets that force your reader to keep reading the
whole page, and makes them insanely curious and want
to buy your product

* How to take the risk off people's shoulders, so
they'll feel safe buying from you.

* How to craft your 'call to action', and get people
to whip out their credit cards and buy immediately.

* The secrets of writing a killer P.S. that helps seal
the deal, and flip your prospect into a buyer
instantly.

This video covered a surprising amount of detail,
especially considering that this course is not
specifically about copywriting. Michael Rasmussen is
definitely someone who overdelivers in his educational
products.

VIDEO 6 - HOW TO AUTOMATE THE
DELIVERY OF YOUR INFOPRODUCT

Unless you want to be chained to your computer, you
must learn how to put your mini sites on autopilot.
The only thing you should be doing is driving traffic,
and letting the site itself do all the work, including
the work of instantly delivering the product to the
customer.

This video will walk you through the process of
automating your product delivery, so you can just
relax, and collect the money. The best part is... once
you have this automated system set up, you never have
to touch it again.

VIDEO 7 - HOW TO "GROW" YOUR SALE

This video is guaranteed to be an eye opener for
almost everyone who watches it, even the experienced
marketers. Michael dives into some of the most
effective 'upselling' techniques that I've ever seen.

Nowhere else on the Internet have I seen such a
thorough tutorial on how to increase the 'size' of
your orders. You'll learn:

* The psychology of 'upselling', and how to use it
make your customer spend even more money with you.
The best part? He'll think it was his idea!

* The absolute best time to upsell your customer. This
one will surprise you when you realize how much money
you've been leaving on the table by skipping this
step.

* 5 simple techniques to increase your profit by up to
100%.

If you've already got a mini site that's up and
running, this video will make a big difference for you
right away. Use any of these 'plug and profit'
strategies to increase your income literally
overnight!

VIDEO 8 - CREATING AN AFFILIATE SALES
FORCE

If there's one thing I've noticed that all successful
marketers have in common, it's that they have a great
affiliate program. They create a program that allows
other people to make good money by promoting their
products, and they get to just sit back and relax,
while everyone else is doing the hard work of
promoting FOR them.

If you've ever dreamed of having an army of motivated
sales people working hard to make you money, then
you're going to love this video. Michael will teach
you:

* What an affiliate program is, and how to set one up
very quickly.

* Exactly what tools you need to give your affiliates
(most people miss the mark here, so pay extra
attention to this part).

* Why merely having an affiliate program is NOT enough
to convince people to sign up, and what you can do
instead to have people eagerly trying to become one of
your affiliates.

* How to motivate affiliates to sell for you.

VIDEO 9 - MINI SITE MISTAKES TO AVOID

Let's face it... it's not enough to explain what you
should do. You also need to know what mistakes you
should avoid. Michael has already made these costly
mistakes, but you don't have to. You'll learn:

- Why people do judge a book by its cover... and how to
capitalize on that for your mini-site

- The single biggest reason people don’t buy from a
mini site, and how you can apply this 'instant fix'.

- The single biggest thing that will kill your
mini-site (it's not what you think, and making this
mistake is a surefire way to drain money from your
bank account FAST!)

- Two list building mistakes that’ll cripple your
long-term profits.

VIDEO 10 - SECRETS OF CREATING A
PRODUCT FUNNEL

This video will walk you through the process of
designing a product line that will make you a TON of
money. There's a lot more to it than you'd think,
which is why this important concept (which was taken
from direct marketing) gets it's own video.

After watching this video, you'll understand why you
can't just have a single front end product, and you'll
know exactly what to do in order to get your customer
to keep buying more and more expensive products from
you... completely on autopilot!

This video is a MUST for any serious marketer who
wants to make a lot of money from their online
business.

VIDEO 11 - OUTSOURCING SECRETS FOR
WORKING LESS, AND MAKING MORE

The title of this video says it all. You'll learn
all of Michael's secrets for getting top notch
freelancers to help you create your mini site empire
in record time.

Let's face it, you can't be an expert at everything
that mini sites require. For example, it's really
tough to be a top notch graphic designer, while also
mastering HTML, and then becoming a killer
copywriter, on top of also creating the product
itself.

And the list goes on and on. If you want to be
efficient, and begin making money as fast as
possible, outsourcing is the secret to making it
happen. This video will show you exactly what to do,
as well as some common (and very expensive) pitfalls
to avoid.

VIDEO 12 - OUTSOURCING SECRETS FOR
WORKING LESS, AND MAKING MORE

Let's face it... it doesn't matter how great your
mini site is if you don't get any traffic coming to
it. Getting traffic can be one of the most confusing
and mysterious parts of making money online IF you
don't get the proper education.

Thankfully, Michael really dives in, and gives you a
lightning fast education in this area. Specifically,
you'll learn:

* How to use Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising to get
targeted traffic fast.

* 3 ways to get targeted traffic without spending a
dime.

* 2 ways to leverage the experience and contacts of
other people to explode your traffic.

* 3 traffic strategies to avoid like the plague!

By the time you're done with this video, you'll know
what to do right away to begin driving targeted
visitors to your mini site.

DELUXE VIDEOS
*************************************************

Mini Site Profits Exposed comes with 12 videos, and
has more content than most 300 dollar home study
courses. And did I mention that it's free?

If you decide that you want to continue your
education, and get the biggest possible advantage, you
can also upgrade to the deluxe course for a small fee.
The deluxe course contains four full-length videos
that each cover one advanced topic in great detail.

Here's a breakdown of each video:

*************************************************
VIDEO 13 - DESIGNING A KILLER BACK END
THAT RUNS COMPLETELY ON AUTOPILOT
*************************************************

This deluxe video could easily be a whole course in
itself. It walks you though the entire process of
setting up a back end that is completely automated
using an autoresponder system.

You'll learn how to set up your autoresponder to
automatically remove a person from your prospect list
after he buys, and then insert him into your customer
list. This is where your new autoresponder sequence
will start promoting your back end products
automatically.

Bottom line... if you want to make the big bucks like
all the Internet marketing gurus, you need to create a
back end that works hard for you while you're out
creating new mini sites and developing new products.
This video will show you how.

*************************************************
VIDEO 14 - LIST BUILDING SECRETS
*************************************************

In this deluxe video, Michael will walk you through
some of his best tactics for growing a massive list
from your mini site. He'll not only teach you what to
add to your mini site, but he'll also show you what
you must REMOVE from your mini site in order to get
the most possible subscribers.

Building a list is about SO much more than just
offering a free newsletter. In fact, Michael shows you
five different things you can offer your readers to
get them to instantly give you their name and email.

You'll also learn the best places to actually put the
opt-in email form on your mini site. You'll also learn
about pop ups and tell-a-friend scripts, as well as a
bunch of other incredible tactics for growing your
list.

I have a hunch that you'll find yourself referring to
this video over and over again.

*************************************************
VIDEO 15 - MARKETING ACTIVITIES THAT
MAKE YOU MONEY
*************************************************

When you think about all the 'stuff' you can do to
drive traffic to your site, it's hard to know what you
should focus on first. This video will walk you
through the four most important marketing activities
you can do to drive traffic to your mini site.

Once you master these four, you'll never have to
wonder what you should do when you start a new mini
site. You'll have an easy-to-follow road map for
driving tons of targeted prospects to your site, so
you can begin making money ASAP!

*************************************************
VIDEO 16 - MAKE MAXIMUM PROFITS FROM YOUR MINI SITE
*************************************************

In this final deluxe video, Michael will reveal his
best kept secrets for squeezing maximum profit out of
any mini site. These are techniques that you have NOT
seen before, so you'll want to pay extra close
attention to this one.

Think about it... if you're going to put the time in,
and set up a mini site the proper way (like Michael
shows you in these videos), then it only makes sense
that you'd want to make the most amount of money
possible from it.

In this video, you'll learn:

- How changing one sentence on your mini site could
double your profits easily.

- How to instantly increase the dollar amount of your
average order (which puts more money into your
pocket).

- The one thing you must add to your 'download page'
that will instantly increase your income (with no
extra work, once this thing is put into place).

- How to turn your actual product into a money making
machine!

*************************************************

My 2nd Complaint to IR

This report is extracted from my Laporan Pembuangan Kerja Di Bawah Seksyen 20 Akta Perhubungan Perusahaan 1967 Rujuk Fail: JPP (PAH) SEK 20 184/2006 I prepared for the Ketua Pengarah, Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan, (Kementerian Sumber Manusia), Tingkat 7, Wisma Persekutuan, 25532 Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur on the 16.8.2006

Latar Belakang Pembuangan Kerja 10.8.2006

This report is extracted from my Laporan Pembuangan Kerja Di Bawah Seksyen 20 Akta Perhubungan Perusahaan 1967 Rujuk Fail: JPP (PAH) SEK 20 184/2006 I prepared for the Ketua Pengarah, Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan, (Kementerian Sumber Manusia), Tingkat 7, Wisma Persekutuan, 25532 Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur on the 16.8.2006

Bhd.

This report is extracted from my Laporan Pembuangan Kerja Di Bawah Seksyen 20 Akta Perhubungan Perusahaan 1967 Rujuk Fail: JPP (PAH) SEK 20 184/2006 I prepared for the Ketua Pengarah, Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan, (Kementerian Sumber Manusia), Tingkat 7, Wisma Persekutuan, 25532 Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur on the 16.8.2006

My IR Complaint

This report is extracted from my Laporan Pembuangan Kerja Di Bawah Seksyen 20 Akta Perhubungan Perusahaan 1967 Rujuk Fail: JPP (PAH) SEK 20 184/2006 I prepared for the Ketua Pengarah, Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan, (Kementerian Sumber Manusia), Tingkat 7, Wisma Persekutuan, 25532 Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur on the 16.8.2006

Bhd. Pada 17.5.2006 (number rujukan Bil(2)dlm.PPP.PHG.SEK20 184/2006)

Latar Belakang Pembuangan Kerja 17.5.2006

This report is extracted from my Laporan Pembuangan Kerja Di Bawah Seksyen 20 Akta Perhubungan Perusahaan 1967 Rujuk Fail: JPP (PAH) SEK 20 184/2006 I prepared for the
Ketua Pengarah, Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan, (Kementerian Sumber Manusia), Tingkat 7, Wisma Persekutuan, 25532 Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur on the 16.8.2006

Keesokan harinya 17hb Mei 2006 jam 4 petang saya sekali lagi dipanggil saudara Fairuz. Beliau bertanyakan keputusan saya.

Blogging Power

I learnt about blogging during those early months of unemployment. I was forced to resign from my job May 2006 with 10 years of service. I don't know why they have to do it by this crooked way but we will hear their reasons this coming case hearing June 11 in Court 20 Kuantan.

When I first started this blog back then I wanted to write this sad experience of unfair dismissal, and victimization. But I didn't have the heart. So I started to post light stuffs. Even the layout was colorful. Now I will try to share what had happen and what will happen .. my mission to stand up for my rights as a citizen of this the democratic country Malaysia. So my blogsite has a new face.

Latest Personal Achievement

Chinese New Year long weekend, selalunya balik kampung Gombak atau Wakaf Bharu, tapi nak jimat kami bercuti sekeluarga di Beserah sahaja. I followed thru my ambition of bringing SMK Beserah netball team to champion the MSSM Kuantan Netball competition. Pagi raya china I joined their morning training session. Even my husband chipped in with some physical fitness routine. The girls loved and enjoyed the session.

The team tak lah strong sangat with some of the girls not serious about competition. Cuma nak thrill sikit-sikit bermain bola. That actually crippled the intention of winning the competition. My daughter was the key player. Her teacher only agreed to take on the netball team just because she is in the team. I sensed the problem the team would have and hated the thought of wasted energy and hope of the girls in successful participation in the tournament. So, turun padanglah saya in between hantar dan ambik the boys (my other children) to and from school.

I tak ajar banyak technique bermain sangat coz the teacher dah ada "strategy" dia. I tekankan the basics of good throw, and proper ball catching. Introduced jugak passing the ball while running tapi the girls weren't fit to pick it up. Namun stressed the need to find space and spread out verses their routine "main side" where everybody goes to one side of the field to attack.

Sesiapa yang tengok training session budak-budak ni mesti kata "ala.. lembik nye, macam mana nak menang." True enough, even the the school football coach/teacher pun comment the same thing. From beginning, I stressed proper running and jumping. Then mental strength to take on the challenge of facing fast game and noisy crowd and more self disciplined team from boarding schools.

Alhamdullah, during the first round the team had 2 good wins and 1 seri with MRSM.

Second round is kalah mati. The first game is "now or never strategy". Yang tak pandai terbang ambik bola pun kena terbang, sapu cream kat betis and wherever needed, scram sekuat hati, doa kemain banyak, and tawakkal kat Allah. Alhamdulillah menang.

Bukit Rangin kemudian Seri Pelindung. Bukit Rangin to me was nothing and Beserah can win easily. It was Seri Pelindung (last year champion, and the team Beserah lost to at semi finals landing to third place.) I had to handle Liyana's brother to school and had to miss the games. Thank God, they even beat Seri Pelinding by playing extra time with only 2 points lead. Actually, maybe it is a good thing that I had missed the game as it was a heart pounding one. (Seri Pelindung had a man coach!!) So that win took the girls to the final to again meet MRSM.

The strategy was start with a fast game, take the lead, then play MRSM slow controlled game. Actually the later was our strategy most of the time. See, the girls are mostly short for netball players. The attacking players are all below 5ft. Harapkan Kak Long who's at 5'5" and GK and GD who are the taller ones. Half time they lead by 1 point. Strategy tak jadi sebab diorang pun main fast game. Tak pe. Kita boleh kejar lepas tu controll game as usually. That's what we did and won. The girls played a splendid game showing off skills yang ade and playing a smart game.
Congratulations SMK Beserah for a job well done.
2nd Place MRSM Kuantan 1st Place SMK Beserah 3rd Place SMT Seri Pelindung

Bonus, the under 18 football on the same day also won 1st place for their MSSM Football Kuantan. Double joy.
